bio

Maria Verdun graduated as an Architect from the University of Buenos Aires.
She worked in the architectural field both in Argentina and in Canada since she
immigrated in 2004.
All her life she experienced a deep connection with the visual arts, both as a
maker and spectator. Since her early years, she practiced drawing, painting,
ceramics and sculpture. Her oeuvre is mostly based on the exploration of
the human figure.
Maria is currently developing a series of sculptural works reflecting the needs
and emotions of the “Women without voice”.
